Hosta Industries A/S tool system crunches costs by 30-70%
Our toolsystem is a high-quality punching and piercing tool system with a simple design and for small and medium-sized series of high quality. The tools are made in 10 standard sizes from 224x300 mm to 1220x2100 mm. They punch up to 8 mm steel, 4 mm stainless steel and 10 m plastic and aluminium.
Our tools may be used in all punchable materials. They can punch between 20.000-70.000 workpieces between each sharpening, depending on the quality of the material, the shape of the workpiece and grade.
The sectional construction makes it possible to make changes to tools at a low cost.
We deliver within 4-8 week, depending on the size of the order.

A) Upper section
Manufactured as special-pressed laminated fibreboard which is resistant to oil, acid and water.
B) Steel rulers/perforating punches
Is part of the lower section. These are hardened or precision-sharpened for cutiing and/or punching.
C) Lower section
Consists of a steel sheet, upon which a cutting-plate is fitted in one or more pieces, depending on the size of the workpiece and demands for strength.
D) Blank holder/scraper
Is manufactured in polyurethane 90 shore. Fitted both as both upper and lower section.
E) Subpress
Custom-built in the best quality with extra strong steering, small tolerances and the best quality steel. Used as a clamping device for the upper and lower sections.
F) Hardened steel plate
Creates the thrust plate for steel rulers and perforating punches.
