Hosta Industries represents delivery, quality, competitive prices and 40 years of know-how in punching. Therefore, we also offer two options for automated punching. Both processes require a relatively large volume and a slightly longer timeframe than, for example, laser cutting and turret punching.
Our first method is a 400-tonne press with automatic feed. Here, as a customer you, invest in a progressive die tool which is mounted in the press. The materials are fed automatically from a coil, and the process can run unattended with a very high output. In this process, it is also possible to process the material further, allowing you to get a finished product from a fully automated process.
At Hosta Industries, we build and design both simple and complex cutting and punching tools in high quality for this punching process, giving you as a customer a complete solution from a single subcontractor. This helps to ensure faster turnaround times from placed order to the start of production.
Our second method of automated punching is a traditional eccentric punch with the addition of a robot from Universal Robots. This solution is distinguished by automating a uniform motion. If there is a need for additional processing after, for example, laser cutting or automated punching, we have the option of configuring the machine for that purpose.
